Images of the Samsung Galaxy S5 have supposedly leaked just hours before the phone’s official unveiling at the Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona.

The official unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S5 is set to take place in Barcelona later today at 7pm Irish time, but if you can’t wait the extra few minutes for the official launch then you can check out what the S5 is reported to look like in the gallery above.

The pics were recently posted by the tech insider site, Redmond Pie, who spotted the leaked images on the SaudiAndroid Twitter page (@SaudiAndroid).

While the pics don’t tell us an awful lot about new S5, we can see that it’s going to be bigger than the S4 but smaller than the Note 3 (if these pics are legit, that is). And so estimates suggest that the screen will be around 5.25” diagonally.

According to Redmond Pie the new S5 will also be carrying an “IP67 standard certification, which means it can tolerate a submersion of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes without breaking a sweat.” The device will also come with a 16MP camera and a load of other tech wizardry, but you’ll be able to find out the official word from Samsung’s unveiling of the Galaxy S5 from 7pm Irish time.
