In Japan they’ve just opened a Resident Evil attraction that looks ridiculously cool, what a great bunch of lads
These brilliant pictures from the lads at Kotaku have given us a look inside the latest attraction at Universal Studios Japan, that lets visitors step inside the incredibly scary world of Resident Evil.
From realistic looking guns and zombies to all the logos to real locations and uniforms from the game and movies, this attraction seemingly has everything. You can even swing out of the attraction and get yourself some brains (macaroni, by the looks of it) from the local watering hole, Finnegans, an Irish bar, of course. Zombies, Ireland, you know that whole connection there.
You start off being equipped with a fairly realistic looking model gun that has 30 virtual bullets in it, for you to take on all the zombies, and apparently the whole thing takes about ten minutes to get through. There are two sections to it, and if you survive the first (either in the police department or in the hospital) then you can get through to the second and final battle in the research centre.
If Nemesis appears, we’re going to need a new pair of underwear. Anyway, we’re off to dust off the old copies of Resident Evil we have lying around and scare the crap out of ourselves this fine Friday evening.
Hat-tip to Game Impress Watch and Famitsu for the pics
