ZeniMax Media, one of the developers behind the hugely popular ‘The Elder Scrolls’ series, is to create 250 jobs at its European operations base in Galway.

ZeniMax, better known as one of the developers behind award winning multiplayer games such as, Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, is getting set to hire 70 French speakers, 30 German speakers and 150 English speakers to fill roles in their customer support department based out in Galway.

The company wants to expand its customer services to meet demand for in-game chat and email support as more and more gamers buy into ‘The Elder Scrolls’ series. Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim all won ‘Game of the Year’ awards, so ZeniMax have a lot of gamers to look after…

ZeniMax, based out of Hunt Valley, Maryland, in the US, already created 180 jobs here in Ireland when it moved its European HQ from Sweden to Galway back in 2011, so this is sure to be another welcome announcement for jobseekers across the country.
