In yet another sign that the summer may be nearly finished, the Leaving Cert results are out on August 14, one week from today. And this year’s bunch, thanks to NUI Galway, can at least make on aspect of the day very easy indeed; totalling up their points tally.
A new app, which went live on Apple’s App Store yesterday, allows those interested to very quickly tot up their total. Called iPoints, it was developed by Paul Herron, and it covers all the extra elements that need to be added up, like Higher Maths and LCVP.
On a day as intense as Leaving Cert results day, anything to make life a bit easier is welcome, so we expect this app to be very, very popular for the next seven days.
