Google have changed their terms and conditions, and might be using your face in an ad soon

Yesterday, Google updated their terms of service, allowing your name, profile photo and information to appear in reviews and advertisements for products, somewhat similar to the way that Facebook uses ‘sponsored stories’.

You do have the option to opt out of the program, as the lads at Mashable have pointed out, but by default Google will use your actions to recommend products to your friends.

They state in their update to the terms that your information is only used if you take an action, like commenting, following someone on Google Plus, writing a review on Google Play or +1-ing something, as they feel that it would be “useful information” for your mates to know.
