Do you consider yourself a casual adventurer/photographer who would love to have a small portable action camera, but you just can’t justify the expensive price tag for something that you’re only going to use twice a month? Well then, GoPro is releasing the device for you – which is bad news for the Polaroid Cube.

As well as the all-new GoPro HERO4 Black + Silver (find out more about them here) GoPro will be releasing a new version of the HERO, which will retail here in Ireland for just €124.99. That’s €355 less expensive than the new top of the range HERO4 Black.

The new HERO is built directly into a rugged, waterproof housing and features high-quality 1080p30 and 720p60 video, 5MP photos up to 5 frames per second, QuikCapture, SuperView and an Auto Low Light feature. It’s also waterproof up to 40m, which is pretty impressive.

The HERO is certainly a cool little device that’s sure to come in useful the next time you decide to do something awesome. You can find out more over on the GoPro website.
