From June this year you just might be able to control your dreams, and the bit of kit will only cost you €120.

While we’re still not sure if we fully understood what the hell was going on in the movie Inception, we do know that being able to control your dreams would be pretty cool.

And now a company claims to have created a product that will let you know when you are dreaming, allowing you to take control and do whatever you want while you kip.

The company is called iWinks and they have created the Aurora, a headband that you slip on before you drop off. It tracks your eye-movement, brain waves and sleep pattern to work out when you are dreaming. Then it will send you signals via some subtle flashing lights and sounds to alert you that you are in a  dream, allowing you to dream about whatever you want.

The company created the below video last month to raise some capital and they had funding almost three times more than they asked for so far.

The product is set to launch in June, and the price will be around €120. As the creator Jack Payne says: “We spend one third of our lives asleep. Why not make the most of that time?”

Hard to argue… if it works of course.
