Features from the new iPhone have been leaked

Can we get excited yet?

These would be game-changers.

The head honchos at Apple are sure to be less than happy with this –  two of its suppliers appear to have spilled the beans on the changes that are coming with the next iPhone

If true, they’ll have confirmed what iPhone users have been waiting for.

Apparently we can expect wireless charging and selfie-recognition technology with the iPhone 8.

An executive at Wistron, an Apple supplier, told the company’s shareholders that wireless charging would be a “new feature”, reports Business Insider.

“Assembly process for the previous generations of [iPhones] have not changed much, though new features like waterproof and wireless charging now require some different testing, and waterproof function will alter the assembly process a bit,” he said.

Meanwhile, another supplier, Largan Precision, has said its 3D-sensing lenses will be “ready to ship in the second half of this year.”

This depth-sensing selfie camera will mean that your phone will recognise your face in 3D, allowing you to use your face to lock your phone and preventing someone else from using a photo of you to access it.

The iPhone 8, the company’s ten-year anniversary smartphone, is expected to launch in September of this year.
