Irish model Holly Carpenter reveals what Irish ladies’ Snapchat photos really mean

Holly, we're forever in your debt

Conor Heneghan

Holly, you’ve done Irish mankind a massive favour here.

For generations, menfolk have struggled to understand the messages communicated by women, whether its face to face, over the phone, roared directly down our ear etc.

In this day and age, Snapchat is no different to what’s gone before, especially when you’re trading pictures with a girl with whom there could be a potential relationship down the line.

What message lies behind those innocent-looking but secretly cryptic selfies that only stay on your screen for a few seconds before disappearing again?

Thankfully, one of those women, Irish model Holly Carpenter, has come up with a fascinating and highly informative guide to the categories of Snapchats sent by Irish women and what they really mean.

Here’s a few of the examples she has come up with.

Holly says: Subtly letting you know she’s available
