The latest Assassin’s Creed gets a truly beautiful, technically astounding new trailer

Pure eye-sex.

“Where it all ends, it begins.”

Having churned out a game a year since the first one back in 2007, last year was the first year we didn’t get a new Assassin’s Creed game. We did get an Assassin’s Creed movie, but the less said about that the better.

Anyways, turns out that the break did Ubisoft the world of good, and have taken the franchise in a new direction, which is even further back than the game has travelled before.

Yep, for the 10th game in the Creed series, Origins takes the plot back to the… well… origins of the Assassin’s Creed, all the way back to Ancient Egypt.

With the game’s release creeping ever closer, Ubisoft have released a brand new trailer, and boy howdy if it isn’t absolutely beautiful to look at.

Now, we’ve all been misled by eye-sex visual trailers for games before, only for the finished product to arrive as a big, heaving pile of disappointment.

However, a few weeks back, IGN got their hands on the first mission of the game, and you can see for yourself below that the game looks like it might just be the best entry in the Creed franchise to date.

Assassin’s Creed Origins will arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC from Friday 27 October.
