Little kid asks Santa for prosthetic arm so he can play Xbox One

And thanks to the Internet it’s going to happen. It’s a Christmas miracle!

One little boy in New York, like many other boys around the world, asked Santa for an Xbox One when he sat on his lap this Christmas, but he had one extra request. He asked for a prosthetic arm so that he could play the console, as he was born without part of his left arm.

Christopher Kiezek asked Santa for the arm in the run up to Christmas this year, and catching St. Nick a little off guard, the bearded man leaned in for clarification to make sure that he had heard everything correctly. At that point, Christopher stated “I want fingers Santa.”

Family friend Robert Jackson overheard the request, and he was so moved that he took to the internet to start a crowdfunding campaign so that he would be able to present Christopher and his parents with a cheque for $25,000 to make his Christmas wish come true.

So far they’ve raised much more than was needed for the campaign, and at the time of writing they’d put together over $49,000 dollars. At least in one house this Christmas, Santa really has produced the goods. Now if you’ll excuse us, there’s something in our eye…
