Microsoft Outlook users around the world affected by technical issues

If you’ve had trouble opening your work emails this morning, you’re in good company.

Users of Microsoft Outlook around the world have been have been hit by issues affecting its service on desktop and mobile devices on Thursday morning.

In a post on Twitter, Microsoft 365 Status said they had received reports of users experiencing issues accessing their Exchange Online accounts via Outlook on the web.

Having initially identified the problem as being largely confined to India, Microsoft later said they had identified that it was affecting users around the world.

Microsoft said that they were reviewing recent changes to their service to determine the cause of impact and suggested that users may continue to experience problems with Outlook on desktop and mobile devices.

At the time of writing, Microsoft have not provided a timeline of when a solution to the issues outlined will be provided.

On Monday, various Microsoft services, including Office, Teams and Office 365 experienced issues for a number of hours; an explanation for what caused the issues was not provided.
