Microsoft stick the boot into Google with their latest range of hilarious merchandise

With a no-holds-barred aggressive campaign, Microsoft are doing their best to undermine Google

We’re more used to Microsoft selling us Surface Tablets, Xbox Ones and Gateway 2000s, but their latest range of merchandise is poking a good bit of fun at Google and their use of user data.

Recently a judge ruled that Google may well be breaking wiretap laws in the States when it was revealed that they were reading people’s Gmail accounts to target users with paid ads, and while this case is still developing, the lads at Microsoft took it upon themselves to start a campaign and have a bit of a dig, as well as trying to drive traffic to their Bing search engine.

The range of merchandise includes mugs, as seen above, and t-shirts, and they’ve even made a handy little video to explain to everyone how you’re getting done over by the big bad searching machine.

There’s a whole website set up dedicated to the concept of getting screwed by Google, or “scroogled” if you will, where you can get plenty more information, but it seems that their merch has proven so popular already that the mugs are already sold out. You can still get t-shirts and hats if you act quick, to get the Google employee in your life the perfect Christmas gift.
