One small tip can help improve your Wi-Fi speed this Christmas

Spread the Christmas cheer

Paul Moore

Spread the Christmas cheer.

If you’re anyway like me then I’d imagine that one half of your Christmas holiday is spent hanging out with friends/family while the other half is gleefully enjoyed on the couch.

If you plan on having a Netflix binge or Skyping your family over the festive period then be careful where you place your Christmas tree because new research has shown that those decorative fairy lights can disrupt the Wi-Fi signal in your home.

The electrical field generated by your twinkling lights isn’t helpful when it comes to broadband connectivity, according to Offcom.

I’m certain that most of you will be putting up your Christmas decorations very soon so this tip might be something to keep in mind. After all, you wouldn’t want to miss out on all those must-see Christmas movies.
