Get those cotton swabs ready

Get those cotton swabs ready.

I’d wager that it’s very seldom that you’re distracted while working on your laptop – hey look a squirrel – but this latest piece of research by Quill.com might make you take a step back from the keypad.

According to a recent piece of research they’ve discovered that 3,000 organisms are currently living on your computer keyboard per square inch.

To put that into context, that means there’s more bacteria on your laptop than on a toilet seat. For those of you who still maintain that boys are the dirtiest then you would be wrong, women actually tended to have a more unhygienic computer surface.

This infographic provies even more information which will probably cause you to run straight to your local shop in order to stock up on cotton swabs and disinfectants.

Then again, you could also go the whole ‘Exorcist’ approach and call a priest…but your laptop probably isn’t that bad.
