If you were having problems shopping online on Cyber Monday, you should have taken a leaf out of this guy’s book.

Yesterday, Cyber Monday, was reportedly the biggest day for online shopping in the calendar year and no doubt there are a few of you who were scouring websites at home and abroad for a few bargains in the run up to Christmas.

It won’t be a problem from next year onwards when postcodes are rolled out across the country, but for years, Irish people have hit a roadblock when it comes to filling out online shopping forms and are asked for a postcode or zipcode which simply doesn’t exist.

Sometimes, you’ll get away with making one up or filling in ‘0000’ in the box required but some online websites don’t accept it, leading to the situation faced by one Irish online shopper today.

Seeing as the post was sent in anonymously we won’t reveal the identity of the ‘Eoin’ in question but we love his response to a mail he got from a website in the USA when his attempt to purchase a product online encountered some difficulties.
