PIC: Uisce Beatha gets a subtle nod in the new Fallout game

We guess we’re famous for it…

Gamers around the world rejoiced this week as the long-awaited Fallout 4 was released in what will probably be the biggest game of the year.

The game is so big that this week porn site Pornhub, announced a significant decline in their traffic which coincided with the release of the game.

The game has sold well all over the world and one eagle-eyed gamer on Reddit managed to spot a very subtle use of the Irish language in the branding of a bottle the game.

Uisce Beatha means ‘whiskey’ in Irish, but of course you already knew that…

The game is set in Boston which is heavy with Irish ancestry which would explain its inclusion in the game.

UPDATE:

We’ve been reliably informed by JOE reader Glenn Colclough, that Ireland got much more than just the subtle mention above.
