Pic: Very honest and very funny GTA V related notice in UK Games store
Let’s face it, they do have a point.
As far as the gaming community is concerned, days don’t come much bigger than when GTA V will be released next week.
Arguably one of the most anticipated releases of all time, people have been talking about it for months and their anticipation has been fed by trailers, previews and snapshots of what the game will look like, including a quite ingenious reference to Father Ted you may have spotted over the weekend.
It’s safe to say that those lucky enough to get their hands on the game will spend hours, days and weeks sampling what it has to offer and with that in mind, one particular games store in the UK can’t see the point in opening up the day after the game goes on release.
We would wager that the primary reason for putting up the sign was the self-interest of the staff as opposed to the anticipated lack of customers, but expect staff in other gaming stores to try and convince their bosses to do likewise in time for next week.
