Tech heads will love this.

The Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge + and Samsung Note 5 were unveiled yesterday and the internet is buzzing with reviews and opinions on the latest smartphones to hit the market.

The Galaxy 6 Edge + is an update on the Galaxy 6 but it’s thinner, faster and flashier than its predecessor. The dimensions are 7mm in width and 70.1mm by 142.1mm.

The phone runs on the Android Lollipop system 5.1 and has a massive 4GB of RAM.

As for its design, it’s made of a combination of glass and metal but that’s not all. It has the first dual edge display with 5.1 Quad HD display giving clearer imagery and more of an in depth picture.

The camera is also improved because you’re now able to create faster and clearer photos with a F1.9 aperture. You’ll be delighted to know that it charges faster than the former Galaxy 6, 1.5 times faster to be specific, which should come in handy if you’re in a rush.

There’s also few new quirky features that are not in the older model such as finger print passwords and colour coded contacts so you know who is calling you at a glance.

The Edge + is designed for people who want a phablet sized device with a screen size of 5.7 inches.

The Note 5 was also unveiled yesterday although there are no plans to bring this device to Europe any time soon.

The Note has the same size screen, 5.7 inches, and a cool feature of the phone is that a cover also acts as a keypad.

As well as releasing these two devices to the world, Samsung have also introduced Samsung Pay which is a system where the phone can trigger a payment card transaction.

It is first being introduced in South Korea, moving on to the US at the end of September and eventually the UK and Spain although there are no specific dates mentioned in relation to this move European yet.

These developments were announced in New York yesterday instead of waiting for the German annual IFA tech show which take place in three weeks time.

The new phone is on sale on August 21.
