They added a host of new features last week.

You probably read about it online and you’ve noticed that your Snapchat looks a little different these days, and that’s because last week, Snapchat updated its app.

The update included the addition of a host of new features which although in their infancy, look like being very useful and fun to use on your little Snapchat masterpieces.

The first of these features is the magic eraser tool, which is a much more basic version of photoshop.

Basically, the tool allows you to select items in your snaps, and cause them to disappear by replacing them with an overlay from a nearby portion of the photo. It’s also ridiculously simple to use.

Click the scissors icon on the top right hand toolbar. Then click the cluster of stars at the bottom of the list.

Outline the area you want to erase.

The result.

You can also draw using emojis

You will find this new feature under the marker icon. This will allow you to draw on snaps as normal, but there’s also the option underneath to select an emoji. This will allow you to draw using an emoji.

Infinite snaps

Probably the biggest change is the addition of infinite snaps. If you send the post directly to someone, they’ll be able to look at the snap for as long as they want until they close it and it disappears.

All you have to do is take a picture as normal, then click the timer.

Then set it to infinite.
