Players have found the zombie boss in Call Of Duty WWII, and now sleep is a distant memory

Scariest boss character ever? Discuss.

We’re not entirely sure why this is, but video games love having zombie modes.

From the previous Call Of Duty games, to the spin-off likes of Red Undead Redemption (geddit?), zombie mode is a very popular addition to otherwise completely unrelated-to-zombie games.

The newly released Call Of Duty: World War II is no different, and since the game was released on Friday, many publications claim it to be one of the best outings for the franchise in its 14 year run.

However, in this game’s zombie mode, there is a big zombie boss, known as the Panzermorder, or Tank Killer.

And when people finally clapped eyes on it… well… let us just say there was suddenly a need for a change of underwear.

Over the years, there have been plenty of terrifying bosses, and they have been giving us nightmares since 1983 when Sinistar (jump forward to the 40 second mark here) let out his “RAAAARGH!” and that was it, instant insomnia.

There’s also been the likes of The Little Sisters in Bioshock, Pyramid Head in Silent Hill 2, the Leviathan in Dead Space, the Director in Manhunt, and whatever that was at the end of System Shock 2, but once you get your eyes on the Panzermorder, you’ll understand why it deserves to alongside those on the scariest ever boss lists.

Enjoy….?
