There are plenty of additions to the WWE 2K14 roster, with a whole heap of retro wrestling favourites to keep us entertained
Good ol’ JR and Jerry The King Lawlor announced the full roster of legends for the ’30 Years of Wrestlemania’ mode that this year’s edition of the popular WWE series will have over the weekend, and there’s a whole host of familiar names for fans of old school wrestling from back in the day.
Players can choose Ultimate Warrior, The Rock (which might not be news considering he’s on the cover) and Brock Lesnar, as well as a huge list of 33 superstars, and a further ten who are ‘retro’, which basically means a new costume. The wrestlers who will have a retro version are The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Kane, Ric Flair, Triple H, John Cena, Chris Jericho and Big Show.
The ’30 Years of Wrestlemania’ mode will feature 45 classic matches from across the decades of the WWF/WWE, and will fully reflect the eras in which they took place, from the costumes and arenas to the filter on the screen, which should please those of us who remember waking up early on a Saturday to catch the higlights of Smackdown and Raw.
