According to the good folks over at Mobile News, they’ve received a leaked email that claims the ‘new iPhone’ will go on sale via Vodafone in September.
Mobile News reports, “Vodafone has told internal staff the next Apple iPhone handset will be released on September 25.”
There’s no word on whether the new iPhone will be called the 6s or the 7, with Mobile News speculating that Apple may look to follow its strategy with its iPads by not giving it a number.
Other leaks have suggested that the next iPhone could offer a much better camera, thanks to the popularity of the selfie in recent years, with some saying it could feature a 12-megapixel camera.
We’ll just have to wait until September to find out the exact details.
