IT’S PAYDAY, BABY! Rockstar has announced that the $500,000 compensation promised to GTA V Online gamers will be deposited into their (virtual) accounts from today.

So what are you going to do with all that money? In fairness, everyone is probably going to do the exact same thing; blow it all on a chrome car and a nice apartment, and strippers.

However, don’t be surprised if you haven’t got your cash just yet, even if your mates have. According to the Rockstar Newswire, they expect that it will take up to two full days for the Stimulus Package to be fully delivered to the entire player base who logged on in October 2013.

“Please be patient if you do not see it appearing in your in-game bank account just yet. We will update […] on Friday when we expect all the GTA$ Stimulus Package deposits to have been completed.”

So you’ll be able to afford your rocket car and solid gold mansion come Friday.

A new patch (1.0.5) is also available for GTA V Online gamers and it should hopefully rectify the issues causing players to lose certain data. Well it better, as the last thing Rockstar needs is for players to lose the cash thanks to a cloud server crash.
