We all remember flip phones right? Well they could be making a come back…

There really was nothing quite as cool as flipping open your Motorola Razr and “txtin al ur matez 4 lolz”, but we had thought that the days of the foldy-overy phone were completely gone. Not so it seems, as Samsung are rumoured to be making the ‘Galaxy Folder’, according to the lads at shinyshiny.tv

With the latest smartphone releases getting bigger and bigger, they might be opting for a slightly smaller number that would still offer the features of a smartphone. They are also rumoured to be giving the new device two screens (which sounds like the name of a terrible rapper, 2 screenz), one on the inside and one on the outside of the folding part. The touch screen would be a pretty low-res 800×480, but it might be nice to have a keypad under our fingers again, it’s been so long…

Of course, there are a few manufacturers (Samsung included) that still make phones that flip open, but they’re on the lower end of the budget spectrum, so this might be a happy medium, while still being budget-friendly. According to reports, this could be more or less a done deal, and they’re hoping to launch it in the next two or three months in Korea.
