Samsung are launching the world’s first phone with curved LED display in Korea
The times they are a-changin’, and it seems that the next change, at least when it comes to tech, is the curved display. The Galaxy Round, Samsung’s latest innovation will be launched on some networks in Korea as soon as tomorrow, and features a rounded 1080p OLED display.
The main benefit of the design quirk seems to be that it will fit into the palm of your hand a bit better, and may be more comfortable, but you can also “roll” the screen to get a quick look at the notifications on your screen.

It sounds like it’s not going to come cheap however, as the guys at engadget are reporting that it will cost around $1,000 (just under €750), and there hasn’t been much information yet about when the device will launch
