Welcome to the Galaxy F…

After years of rumours, teasers and patents, Samsung appears to finally be on the verge of showing off its first folding Galaxy phone.

Reports suggest that the the company intends to unveil its long-awaited foldable phone, called the Galaxy F, this week at its developer conference with the intention of showing the phone to developers and the public to collect some feedback.

The phone, which is expected to feature a tablet-sized screen that can be folded to fit in your pocket, has been rumored for almost half a decade now.

The biggest hint that they’d be announcing the phone came when the company updated their photos on social media with a folding Samsung logo, which could mean we’re finally going to get a look at Samsung’s latest offering at the conference on Wednesday.

The phone is likely to have some serious competition when it’s finally released with Huawei, Lenovo and Xiaomi, among others, all having their own flexible display plans.

The Royale Corporation has also created a working prototype which they hope to launch in the near future.
