Spike Jonze has always been one of those directors that got people talking.
From his movies Being John Malkovich, Adaptation, Where The Wild Things Are and Her, to his groundbreaking music videos like 'Buddy Holly' for Weezer, 'It's Oh So Quiet' for Bjork, 'Sabotage' for The Beastie Boys, and the infamous Christopher Walken-starring 'Weapon Of Choice' for Fatboy Slim, he certainly has an eye for the unique.
And so it continues with his short movie that doubles as an advert for Apple's new HomePod.
In it, we see singer and model FKA Twigs coming home from a hard day, and asking Siri to play a song she might like. Obligingly, Siri plays Anderson .Paak's new song 'Til It's Over', and Twigs begins to dance along with it.
But as she does, so does her apartment, and before long we've got a mind-bending eye-gasm on our hands, as Jonze perfectly mixes practical and visual effects and we end up with one of the best adverts we've seen in a very long time.
Take five minutes out of your day to enjoy this.
