One day we’ll be able to edit, right?
Amid all the #snowmageddon memes over the last week as Storm Emma arrived, Twitter introduced a brand new feature: the ability to bookmark tweets.
Instead of ‘liking’ a tweet to save it for later or taking a screenshot, users will now be able to save the tweets that they want to come back to.
The feature was rolled out alongside the ability to direct message tweets and send them on via email and text.
Found something historic?
Don’t want to forget a joke?

Now, when using the app on your phone, there is a fourth icon below every tweet – the speech bubble for replies, the two arrows making a square for retweet, a heart for like and an arrow pointed upwards.
All you have to do to save a tweet is click on the fourth icon, select the option that says ‘add to bookmarks’ – and voilà, you’ve got it saved.
To be able to view the tweets you’ve got saved, just click on your profile picture in the top left corner and select ‘Bookmarks’.
And now all we need is for Twitter to debut an editing function, so we don’t have to delete tweets if we make a typo.
