We didn’t realise people were still playing it?

Remember when everyone on Facebook was playing Candy Crush? Yeah, that was really annoying.

The constant score updates and those invites to play were a major factor in the breakdown of a lot of our relationships on there.

We honestly haven’t seen a trace of Candy Crush in quite a while, but that doesn’t mean people aren’t still playing it.

A guy in California started six weeks ago and now he needs surgery on his thumb after it caused him to rupture a tendon.

The 29-year-old admitted he was obsessed with it and played it “non-stop” for six weeks until all of a sudden his thumb wouldn’t move.

The case was reported in the journal JAMA Internal Medicinewhere the man said he felt no pain or discomfort just before the rupture and suddenly it popped.
