This new computer monitor will charge your smartphone wirelessly

The wireless charger has long been talked about, but it’s always seemed just out of reach, like that last solitary Pringle when your hand is too fat to fit into the can.

It appears that Samsung have solved the annoying problem of your smartphone’s battery having about as much stamina as a particularly lazy Sunday league footballer.

Their new monitor, called the Samsung SE370, will charge your smartphone without having to plug in your charger.

If your mobile device supports Qi wireless charging, as Samsung’s Galaxy S6, Google’s Nexus 6 or LG’s G3 do, you simply have to place your phone on the monitor’s stand and it will begin to charge wirelessly.

If you’re anything like us, you keep your mobile phone charger with you at work so you understand it’s a horrible inconvenience to be hunting under your desk for a free plug.
