Tinder is introducing a brand new Festival Mode.

There’s no point dancing around the point here. People get together at festivals. A lot. You puts tens of thousands of people in a big field in the middle of nowhere with alcohol and music and that’s what is going to happen.

And now, dating app giant Tinder are looking to make the process more straightforward.

On Thursday, Tinder announced that it would be introducing Festival Mode for all the lovelorn folks who plan on attending summer music festivals.

Here’s how Festival Mode is going to work: “Get on Tinder and look for the Festival Mode card. Match with it to add your festival badge to your profile, and see who’s going where. From there, you can check out everyone else going to that festival, so you can match and chat before you make your flower crown.”

Tinder is also incentivising users to employ Festival Mode by teasing the possibility of “access to exclusive VIP upgrades, swag, and more.”

The feature is being rolled out this month and will be available three weeks before each festival. Unfortunately, it’s only being rolled out for festivals in the US and the UK for the time being, including All Points East, British Summer Time, Lovebox and Parklife. The US festivals include major events like Bonnaroo, Governor’s Ball and EDC. You can read the full list of festivals involved here.

We expect that Festival Mode will be making its Irish debut before long.
