Bad news South Park fans, as the latest game from the franchise, The Stick of Truth has been delayed (again). The good news is we have seven minutes of gameplay footage to whet your apatite.

South Park: The Stick of Truth was initially supposed to be released in March/April of this year, but due to publishing problems the game was delayed until December this year. However, news from the lads over at IGN states that the game has yet again been delayed… until March 6 next year.

While it’s a tad annoying to hear that the game has been put on ice again, it’s only because the South Park creators want to make sure the game is perfect, even if it means a delayed release date.

“We always wanted the game to feel like you’re actually in an episode of South Park,” said Trey Parker and Matt Stone. “Getting the game up to the crappy standards of the show has been a real challenge and we’re excited to say it’s taken way longer than we thought it would.”

Oh well. Here’s seven minutes of gameplay footage from The Stick of Truth that will hopefully tide you over until March.
