Video: David Attenborough, Morgan Freeman, Arnold Schwarzenegger & Alan Carr play Assassin’s Creed Unity online co-op

Or did they?

Or did they?

According to a press release sent into us by the folks at Ubisoft, the gaming giants recently stumbled across the video below which was posted online by an Xbox LIVE user with the name ‘DavidAttenbro’.

Mr ‘Bro’ was accompanied by three of his gaming buddies who used the gamer tags MorganF Da Man, SchwarzeKiller and ChattyManAl69 – which explains why we couldn’t pick SchwarzeKiller as our name when we were setting up our Xbox Live account.

Ubisoft’s press release goes on to say: “Some experts are speculating that the voices in the video are in fact those of British naturalist David Attenborough, Hollywood actors Morgan Freeman and Arnold Schwarzenegger and British talk show host Alan Carr.

“Others are speculating that the video is the work of renowned impressionist Terry Mynott, whose uncanny celebrity impressions feature in the recent Channel 4 series, The Mimic.

“Ubisoft are unable to verify whether either of these are true but they can confirm that everyone will be able to enjoy the new co-op multiplayer mode in Assassin’s Creed Unity, when the game is released on Friday 14th November.”

In fairness, we got a right laugh out of the tongue-in-cheek release and Mynott’s impressions are quite funny too. He’s left us badly wanting to play a game with Morgan Freeman. Any game. We’d even let him pick.

Anyway… Check out Assassin’s Creed Unity’s online co-op in action featuring the four ‘celebs’ and don’t forget the game hits shops on November 14.
