The latest Call of Duty game mode will see you and your cracked team of ghosts fighting aliens… ‘cause zombies are so 2012 (well, 2008 if you want to get technical).
Just when you thought the world had finally gotten rid of Nazi zombies the guys at Call of Duty go and set a whole horde of aliens upon us gamers.
The alien laden expansion for Call of Duty: Ghosts has been called ‘Extinction’ and if the title is anything to go by, it doesn’t look too good for the Ghosts.
The description on YouTube simply reads: “Call of Duty: Ghosts introduces Extinction – an all-new 1-4 player cooperative game mode featuring a unique blend of fast-paced survival action, FPS base defence, scavenging and class levelling.”
We’re not sure what ‘unique blend of fast-paced survival action’ means, seeing as the video makes the game look like pretty much every other ‘zombies mode’ we’ve played, but we’re sure we’ll be presently surprised on November 11 (hopefully).
While fighting aliens sounds kind of cool, destroying your surroundings in Battlefield 4 sounds better. Just sayin’.
