Just under five minutes of platform perfection…

We’re sure that just like us you spent many, many hours playing Super Mario Bros back in the day. Undoubtedly one of the greatest video games of all time, the platform game wasn’t the most difficult to finish with lots of practice but one guy has taken the game to a whole new level.

A YouTuber called LordSaradoc has posted a video of himself completing the game in a new world record time of 4:57:69. That’s tight, the entire game in less than five minutes. Every jump and move in this video is perfect and he makes perfect use of the hidden warp screens to skip through entire worlds.

Still, it is mightily impressive gaming and we will be digging out an online emulator over lunch to have a stab at this time.
