VIDEO: Here’s how to make a mini rocket using a bottle of coca cola

A Russian Youtuber called Kreosan has discovered, most likely from months of messing,that if you add the volatile petroleum fuel propane to Coca Cola you get a pretty significant explosion that can propel a plastic bottle metres into the air. The trick, which will most likely, but not definitely, work with butane, the similar fuel used in lighters, works very simply, but also dangerously , by spraying the top of the coke bottle with propane and turning the bottle upside down you create a chemical reaction that sends the bottle flying unpredictably through the air. It is a fun trick but it is also a bit risky depending on where you do it as the power behind the explosion is enough to break a glass window and there is no knowing where exactly the bottle will end up.
