This is pretty cool.
A Russian Youtuber called Kreosan has discovered, most likely from months of messing,that if you add the volatile petroleum fuel propane to Coca Cola you get a pretty significant explosion that can propel a plastic bottle metres into the air.
The trick, which will most likely, but not definitely, work with butane, the similar fuel used in lighters, works very simply, but also dangerously , by spraying the top of the coke bottle with propane and turning the bottle upside down you create a chemical reaction that sends the bottle flying unpredictably through the air.
It is a fun trick but it is also a bit risky depending on where you do it as the power behind the explosion is enough to break a glass window and there is no knowing where exactly the bottle will end up. If attempting this, and we are not in any way telling you to do so, it would be best to do it in a wide open space where nothing could possible be harmed from a flying bottle of coke soaring through the air.
