There’s been a huge focus on drug-driving in Ireland over the last few months with the implementation of roadside tests on drivers for drugs and legislation in December.
Ford, in conjunction with scientists from the Meyer-Hentschel Institute in Germany, have launched a new driver-safety campaign to put more of a spotlight on the important topic.
They’ve created a ‘drug-driving suit’ to simulate and highlight the effects of drugs such as cannabis, cocaine, heroin, and MDMA.
We sent our man Eric Lalor along to test out the suit, here’s how he got on.
