Video: NASA’s new electric moon car is the ultimate drift king

Slick moves from NASA latest project

Where can we buy one?

NASA has created a new Modular Robotic Vehicle “with the help of the American automotive industry” and we have to say, it looks pretty damn slick.

The Modular Robotic Vehicle (MRV) is a fully electric golf cart-like rover that’s capable of being driven remotely or by a human behind the wheel and it can even move sideways like a crab.

That’s thanks to the MRV’s four independent motors located in each wheel, which also makes parallel parking a breeze.

The MRV gives us a glimpse at what rover vehicles might look like for future space missions, manned or unmanned, but for now it shall remain as a cool toy for the good folk at NASA to play around with while the work on other ‘space stuff’.

That’s the scientific term, by the way.
