We’ve seen it countless times before, but vertically shot videos could (and hopefully will) become a thing of the past and it's all with thanks to the app developers, Evil Window Dog.
Apart from having a simply brilliant company name, their latest app, 'Horizon', ensures that no matter what way you hold your phone the camera will always shoot in landscape mode. The aim of the app is to make sure you get good footage of whatever it is your shooting and your finished product won’t be caught between two massive walls of black space like in the example below...
