The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back, in a new game that’s out today for download on Xbox 360 and Steam, and next month on PS3
The older gamers out there will remember playing one of JOE’s favourite ever games, Turtles Through Time on the SNES back in the day.
Ever since then, we’ve had an enduring love of all games featuring the mutant ninjas, even if they’re not good. That doesn’t seem to be the case with this one, as judging by the trailer we’re going to have a lot of fun playing as Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello and Raphael.
The game has the same old school vibe as our favourite titles of the past, but with better graphics and much better hard fightin’ moves, and you can even play 4 player co-op with your mates.
According to Mashable, it’s part of Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade initiative, so Xbox owners and Steam gamers on the PC get a chance to play it first as it’s released today on their formats. It will cost 1,200 Live points or $15 on PSN when it’s released later in September, which works out at just under €12.
We have to agree with the first post underneath the YouTube video for the trailer which simply says “man, I’m going to play the s**t out of this game”. Too true, too true.
