We have been waiting a pretty long time for the release of the PS4 and this video shows us just how badly some Austrian gamers wanted Sony’s next-gen console.
Some gamers were queuing up outside retailers for as long as two days just to get their hands on Sony’s PS4, so you can just imagine how big some of the lines of people were.
A lot of places were smart enough to only let people in through a ticketing system, or one by one, but the Media Markt in Innsbruck, Austria, saw a mini stampede break out as soon as the shop opened it’s doors.
Shoppers pushed and grabbed their way to the pallet of PS4’s, but staff at the store managed to calm things down just in time. Any longer and we’re sure a few fists would have started flying.
