This is what happens when you don’t touch the joypad for a small bit of time…
We’re all massive gamers here at JOE Towers and when a good game comes our way we usually drown out all other distractions around us, apart from sport.
A meteor could strike outside our front window and it still wouldn’t stop us from watching sport.
Growing up we used to spend endless hours immersed in games like Zelda, Super Mario 64, Earthworm Jim, Sonic the Hedgehog, Banjo-Kazooie and more.
The only time when we stopped playing the computer was when our mam finally lost patience with us over being constantly late for dinner and would enter the room with her trusted wooden spoon in hand looking ready to strike.
In these panicked moments we would sometimes forget to hit pause on the joypad but some of quirky animations that the characters would do when left idle are superb.
