Have you ever thought to yourself, while killing loads of aliens on a space station in a video game, that this is going to be one hell of a clean up operation?
There are plenty of games out there that let you run through strange other-worldly environments and spilling the blood and guts of aliens all over the floor, but has anyone ever thought of what a terrible job awaits the poor clean up crew afterwards?
The answer to that question is now yes, after this gameplay trailer for Viscera Cleanup Detail emerged, with a fantastic concept for a game: you’re charged with cleaning up all the crap that’s left behind after some poor creature or human is pumped full of ammo.
This alpha version of the game was built in just ten days, which is very impressive, and pits you against a series of blood stains and general messiness in a space station after one man saved humanity from a terrible alien invasion. You’re not that man though, you’re the janitor.
You can download the game right here if you fancy getting some mopping practice in (although at the risk of sounding like your mother, you should probably clean your room first) and waste the next few hours of your life doing some virtual cleaning.
