The bus strike was always going to cause a spike in the app.
The strike by Dublin Bus and Bus Eireann workers this morning was a pain in the backside for everyone, but it worked out well for taxi app Hailo.
The demand for taxis was at an all time high as over 5,000 drivers were summoned by people using the app.
The Hailo control room keep an eye on the activity of all of their drivers, and they posted this Vine to convey just how busy it was in the capital this morning.
Look at all those cars!
The strike is also on tomorrow so make sure to allow for it when you’re planning your journey.
