One of the things that PlayStation fans point to when they take part in the endless Sony V Microsoft debate is the Uncharted series.
The adventures of Nathan Drake have been some of the best ever committed to the medium of video games, his Lara Croft-esque tomb raiding skills combined with some huge action sequences basically make him the modern day, interactive mix of Indiana Jones and James Bond.
With the release of the fourth game in the series last year though, Drake has essentially hung up his pistols for the quiet life, but that doesn’t mean the Uncharted series has to call it quits.
The Lost Legacy sees Chloe Frazer – a plunderer of equal skills to Drake, as well as being an ex of his – who we first met in Uncharted 2, teaming up with Nadine Ross, one of the mercenary antagonists from Uncharted 4, in search of a mythical treasure in the jungles of India.
Developers Naughty Dog (who also have The Last Of Us 2 in the works) have said: ”We wanted this adventure to feature all of the hallmarks of the series, from cinematic storytelling set within exotic destinations, to dynamic combat and intricate puzzles. It’s our biggest story expansion to-date and will be available as a standalone game on store shelves and for digital download.”
