The lads at Amazon didn’t get it right when it came to the prices they were giving out, but they might be closer to the mark with the release date they’re giving the Xbox One

We’re always wary when putting any stock in the information that comes up on Amazon (so we’ll take this with a pinch of salt) but today they put a release date of November 27th on the Xbox One in the United States.

This actually makes a bit of sense given that it would be two days before their biggest pre-Christmas shopping day, Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.

The lads at VG247 are speculating that this might not be true though, given that Call of Duty: Ghosts comes out on November 5th, and it would make sense for the two to launch together, after they were pretty closely tied at the Xbox One announcement earlier this year.

As regards the PlayStation 4, it’s been slated for November too, around the 13th according to some rumours, so it would also make sense for Xbox to try to launch closer to that date since it will be their biggest competitor. Either way, they’ll both be here before Christmas anyway.
