A bridge too far? Shane MacGowan seeks dentist to fix rotten teeth

When we think of Shane MacGowan we think of The Pogues, drink (lots of drink) and seriously rotten teeth, but we might have to get used to seeing awl Shane with a full set of gnashers in the not too distant future.

Everybody’s favourite loveable Pogue, Shane MacGowan, is seeking professional help to correct his manky teeth in order to start a career in Hollywood.

Shane’s missus, Victoria Mary Clark, announced the news over Twitter at the weekend, and there’s already been quite a bit of interest from dentists and people looking for a quick quid.

According to the ‘Dirty Old Town’ star’s better half, “Shane promises to do advertising campaign for the winning dentist!!! (sic)”

Shane had his last two real teeth removed back in 2009 and was fitted with dentures, but what rock ‘n’ roller would want to wear dentures? Not Shane, that’s for sure.
