For those of us who have never even climbed a molehill, never mind a mountain, this view might just inspire us to get off our asses.
Right now New Zealand is trumpeting their amazing scenery on the back of the upcoming Hobbit movie. In fairness, the place is spectacular and large parts of it do look like it stepped out of a movie set.
But Ireland is not too shabby when it comes to the old vistas either and this shot, taken at the summit of Cnoc an Chuillin in the McGillycuddy Reeks could just as easily be in Peter Jackson’s latest.
