The Munster Hurling Final victory was a great day for anyone of Limerick persuasion, and indeed hurling fans in general, and boy did they enjoy it.
In the end the Treaty men had too much for 14-man Cork, but the scenes at the final whistle will be replayed all summer long as success-starved fans in green rushed onto the pitch and we suspect the celebrations may well be ongoing.
